Celebrating Rajinikanth’s 73rd birthday, Lyca Productions revealed the title of his 170th film as ‘Vettaiyan’ with a teaser. The teaser showcased Rajinikanth’s action-packed avatar, wielding canes and firearms.
This Tamil movie, announced back in March, will be helmed by director TJ Gnanavel, known for ‘Jai Bhim.’ Described as an entertainer with a message, ‘Vettaiyan’ features an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan.
Adding to the anticipation, Anirudh Ravichander will compose the film’s music, produced by Subaskaran. Rajinikanth’s upcoming ventures also include an unnamed project with Lokesh Kanagaraj and daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s ‘Lal Salaam.’ The actor’s recent film ‘Jailer,’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, triumphed at the box office upon its August release.
