Mother and Two Daughters Found Dead on Railway Tracks in Virudhunagar
VIRUDHUNAGAR: In a tragic incident in Tamil Nadu, a 55-year-old woman and her two daughters were found dead along the railway tracks near Pattampudhur on Wednesday. Authorities suspect the deaths may have been a case of suicide.
The victims have been identified as D. Rajavalli (55), D. Mariammal (27), and D. Muthupechi (25). According to the police, Rajavalli, a daily wage labourer, had been suffering from kidney-related health issues and was reportedly concerned about her daughters’ future. Both daughters were speech-impaired and had mental disabilities.
The bodies were recovered and sent to the Virudhunagar Government Medical College Hospital for postmortem examination. The Thoothukudi railway police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
