Sivakarthikeyan on Vijay and AR Murugadoss: “My Dream Has Come True”
At the Madharaasi trailer launch, Sivakarthikeyan opened up about his bond with Vijay, his admiration for AR Murugadoss, and his journey to stardom.

The trailer launch of Sivakarthikeyan’s highly anticipated action drama Madharaasi was held in Chennai on Sunday. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is touted to be one of the most ambitious projects in Sivakarthikeyan’s career.

Speaking at the event, the actor reflected on his long journey in cinema, his admiration for Murugadoss, and his cherished experience working alongside Vijay in GOAT.

Sharing his thoughts on collaborating with AR Murugadoss, Sivakarthikeyan said,
“I acted in Maan Karate, produced by Murugadoss sir. At its audio launch, both Murugadoss sir and Shankar sir were present. I said then that one day I would act in their direction, and that I would work hard until that day came. At the time, it was only hope. People used to tease me, asking when Murugadoss sir’s film would happen. But I kept running with your applause as my fuel. Today, my wish has come true as I stand here as the hero of Murugadoss sir’s Madharaasi.”

The actor also spoke about his equation with Vijay, recalling his time working in GOAT. “Vijay sir will always be Anna for me, and I will be his little Thampi. The respect and affection I have for him will never change.”

Madharaasi is expected to showcase Sivakarthikeyan in a new dimension, marking a milestone in his career while also fulfilling his long-held dream of working with one of Tamil cinema’s most acclaimed directors.
