Prince Harry Secretly Maintains Contact With Spencer Family
Prince Harry reportedly stayed at Althorp House, maintaining a secretive connection with his mother's family.

Prince Harry, despite his estrangement from several members of the British royal family, is reported to have been quietly maintaining contact with his maternal relatives. This includes his aunts, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes, and his uncle, Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer.

Jennie Bond, a former BBC Royal correspondent, revealed that the Spencer family has kept communication channels open with Harry, and their mutual affection remains strong. “Quietly, behind the scenes, it is evident that the Spencers have continued their relationship with Harry, and this connection seems to be a positive anchor for him in the UK,” Bond told OK!.

Recently, Prince Harry was seen at the funeral of Lord Robert Fellowes, Lady Jane Fellowes’ husband. Reports suggest that he may have also stayed secretly at Althorp House, the Spencer family’s estate and the childhood home of his late mother, Princess Diana.

The Spencer family’s support has been a steady source of comfort for Harry amid the scrutiny and criticism he has faced since stepping back from royal duties. Althorp House, where Princess Diana is buried, holds significant sentimental value for Harry.

Despite this close connection, Prince Harry’s relationship with his brother, Prince William, and father, King Charles, remains strained. “It’s much better that Harry maintains links with his UK family, even if reconciling with the Windsor side seems distant,” said Bond.

In addition, Harry is reportedly still on good terms with his paternal cousin, Princess Beatrice. Some believe she could play a role in potentially easing the ongoing tensions between Harry and William, according to a former palace staffer.
